holiday cookie party.

Friends, it’s the holidays which means one thing….lots and lots of cookies.
Clearly I’m not complaining, especially when cookies mean the perfect excuse to party with lady friends and decorate them together. To be perfectly honest, I opted for eating all the cookies right away rather than saving them for later (oops…), but watching everyone else show of their decorating skills was pretty entertaining, and these ladies had some serious skills.
Thanks to Jess of The Golden Girl Blog, Erin of Color Me Styled, Emily of Isn’t that Charming, Jen of Jennie Wold, Nicole from Cedar and Rush, and our lovely host Kit of The Kittchen for making the season a little more fun. And extra kudos to Minted for the awesome decor – they’ll be my new go-to for holiday decorating!

As a new twist on an old cocktail, skewer a piece of cooked shrimp and instead of serving it with a bowl of cocktail sauce serve the shrimp in a shot glass already filled with the sauce. It will really help you in refreshing your holiday party presentation.
