I’ve always been a water lover at heart. Water has always been a huge part of my life, from my horoscope sign, to being the common factor in every city I’ve ever lived in – water is in my soul. It’s the the ebb and flow that keeps me grounded, and the knowledge that just like life the waves come and go. Sometimes those waves wash over and overwhelm you, but the feeling of conquering them makes it worth it in the end. Do I always know what part of the wave I’m riding? Not in the least, but that’s what makes life such a beautiful adventure.
With my water obsession, it’s no surprise that when I see a lighthouse that I get super excited. There’s something whimsical and magical about such a stoic structure, watching the waves and sailors go by day after day. I love the colors, the lights, and the contrast of land and sea. One day, when I’m rich and famous {ha!}, maybe I’ll have my own too – I’m thinking pink stripes would only be appropriate.
